Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study consists of three things as follows. First, it describes the level of reading skills in understanding the short stories of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang. Secondly, it describes the level of short story writing skills of students of VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang. Third, describe the relationship between reading skills understanding short stories and short story writing skills of students of VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang. The variables of this research are the short story comprehension reading skills as the X variable and the short story writing text writing skills as the Y variable. The research data were the scores of the short story reading comprehension test skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang and the scores of the results of the short story writing skills text review of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang. The results of this study consisted of three things as follows. First, the reading skills of the short story comprehension of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang are in the Qualification More Than Enough with an average count of 67.01. Second, the short story writing skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang in short story writing are in the Fair qualifications with an average count of 62.15. Third, based on the results of the t-test, an alternative hypothesis was accepted at the 95% confidence level. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman Cerpen, Menulis Teks Ulasan Cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe things as follows. First, describes the reading skills in understanding of exposition textgrade VIIIJunior High School 34 Padang. Second, it describes the writing skills of expositon textgrade VIIIJunior High School 34 Padang. Third, explain the relationship between the reading skills in understanding of exposition text with writing skills of expositon textgrade VIIIJunior High School 34 Padang. This type of research correlation between the reading skills in understanding of exposition textwith writing skills of exposition text grade VIIIJunior High School 34 Padang is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Based on the reslt of the study, the following three things concluded. First, the reading skills in understanding of exposition text are in good qualification (77.56). Second, the writing skills of exposition  on grade VIIIJunior High school 34 Padang are in good qalification (77.64). Third, there is a significant correlation between the reading skills in understanding of exposition text with the writing skills of exposition text grade VIII Junior High School 34 Padang at n-1 degress freedom and a sicnificant level of 95%. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Teks Eksposisi, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to describe the correlation of the apreciprocative reading skills with the writing skills of the short-text student class XI MAN 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods and correlational design. This research sample amounted to 49 people. This research data is in the form of scores of apreciprocative reading skills tests and scores of test-writing skills for short-story text. The data, obtained through two types of tests, is an objective test to measure the test of apresiative reading skills and test performance to measure the writing skills of short story text. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are concluded. First, the skill of reading the appreciative of class XI MAN students 3 Padang is in good qualification (78.81). Secondly, the writing skills of the text of the student's class XI MAN 3 Padang is in good qualification (81.04). Thirdly, there is a significant connection between the apresiative reading skills with the writing skills of the short-text short story at a significantly 95% level with dk = n-1. Based on the results of the research and analysis of data, it was concluded that there is a significant link between the reading skills of the appreciative with the writing skills of the text students of Class XI MAN 3 Padang because thitung > ttabel is 3.12 > 1.67. In other words, to write short story text is required apresiative reading skill.Kata kunci: Korelasi, Membaca, Menulis, Teks Cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has written the contribution of appreciative reading skills in fairy tale texts to the skills of producing short story text in class VII students of SMP 26 Padang. This research is quantitative research using descriptive methods and contribution research designs. The research data is a score of appreciative short story text reading skills and short story text test scores. Data is obtained through two types of tests, namely objective tests that use short story texts that write. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, the researcher concluded the following three things; first, the average score of appreciative reading skills reads short story texts of students in class VII Padang 26 Junior High School in good qualification (82.01). Second, the average score of short story text students who write students in class VII of Padang 26 Junior High School is in good qualification (79.17). Third, there is a significant contribution between the ability to read short story texts that are appreciative of students who write short story text students in class VII of Padang 26 Junior High School as much as 84.82%. Kata Kunci: kontribusi, kemampuan, membaca apresiatif, menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

                             ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of description text. Third, describe the correlation of reading text description understanding with writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang who were registered in the 2019/2020 school year with 192 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, which is 48 students. Based on data analysis and discussion, three research results are obtained as follows. First, reading skills understanding the text description of class VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang in good qualifications. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 78,39. Second, the writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang are in good qualification. This can be seen from the acquisition of a calculated average of 82,20. Third, there is a significant correlation between reading skills in the description of text description and writing text description skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang in the n-1 freedom degree and 95% significant level. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the tcount is greater than t table, namely (6,72> 1.68). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the effect of using mind mapping technique to writing skill the fable story text student in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi. This research data is a score in the skills of writing the story fable text not with and by using mind mapping techniques. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experiment design. The results of this study are the skill of writing fable story text students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi not by using mind mapping technique stay in qualification more than enough (LdC) and the skill of writing the fable story text students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi by using mind mapping technique is qualification good (B). Based on t-test concluded that the use of technic mind mapping influence the skill of writing the fable story text because ttabel<thitung (1,70<2,74). Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Mind Mapping, Teks Cerita Fabel

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII MTs.N. 2 southern coast. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII MTs.N. 2 SelatanKetiga Coast, describing the correlation field environmental vocabulary mastery with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTs.N. 2 southern coast. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII MTs.N 2 southern coast that are listed in the 2018/2019, i.e., 223 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 45 pupils. The results of the research there are three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment students of class VIII MTs.N 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average value of 78.81. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTs.N. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average of 79.54. Third, there is a correlation of mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTs.N 2 southern coast on a 95% confidence level with n-2 degrees of freedom. the value of thitung > ttabel (5.01 > 1.68). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Kotakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Menulis, Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this jurnal is to describe the corelation between students’ reading appreciative short story and writing short story text skill of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang. This research is quantitative research in term of description of corelation study. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, students’ skill in reading appreciative short story of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang is good with the avarage score 80,57. Second, students’ skill in writing short story text is good with the avarage score is 76,67. Third, based on t test,  it can be concluded that there is significant corelation between students’ skill in reading appreciative short story and students’ skill in writing short story text of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang because t counted is bigger than t table (12,19>2,021). Kata kunci:  hubungan, membaca apresiatif, keterampilan menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

This article was written to illustrate the effect of using problem based learning model with serialized media relation to writing skill of exposition of VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This research data is a score in the skills of writing exposition texts before and after using the problem-based model of learning assisted media series image. This study has three results. First, the skills of writing expository texts before using the problem based learning model with the help of the medium of serial images are in the qualification Enough (C). Second, the skill of writing the text of the exposition of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman after using the problem based learning model assisted by the media of the series is qualified More than Enough (Ldc). Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to know the correlation of reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation result with the skill of writing the text of the observation report of the students of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District. This type of research is quantitative. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlational design. The population is the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District, which is 105 people divided into four classes. The sample of this study is 32 people. The research consists of two variables, namely the independent variable (reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation report of the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman) and the dependent variable (writing skill of the observation report of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman). The result of the research shows that for the skill of writing the text of the observation result, it is necessary to read comprehension skill of the observation report. From the results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship (meaning) between reading comprehension skills text report the results of observation with the skills of writing text reports of observations of students of class VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman on n-1 degrees of freedom at a significant level 95 % with thitung larger than ttable that is 5,652> 1,70. Kata kunci; membaca pemahaman, menulis teks laporan hasil observasi
